WSMI: Fund Distribution
Funds are distributed to six entities for review and decision-making on how funds will be used to meet annual goals.
The six entities are:
- Department of Ecology to assist in lab site clean-ups;
- Department of Health to assist in regulation of clean-up and mitigation of properties;
- Department of Community Trade and Economic Development to distribute funds to community mobilization contractors;
- Pierce County Alliance, Behavioral Health Resources and horizon Treatment for family services treatment;
- the Washington Association of Sheriff’s and Police Chiefs for proactive law enforcement; and
- the Safe Streets Campaign to provide technical assistance to the local Meth Action Teams.
