Current Projects

The “Below Ten” initiative will support and further develop community collaborations in 3 of the 10 border cities on or below Interstate 10, in the four Southwest Border States to implement innovative, integrated community policing strategies to improve public safety and quality of life and fully integrate local communities into the national strategy to address guns, drug trafficking and human trafficking on the Southern Border.

The COPS Tribal Meth Initiative Training and Technical Assistance (T/TA) Project will work with the twenty-five Tribal Meth Grantees, representing 36 Native American Tribes, to build their capacity to implement the three community policing pillars of Partnerships, Problem Solving, and Organizational Transformation to reduce methamphetamine production, distribution, and use.
