3% of 2005 Federal Drug Cases in Delaware involved methamphetamine.4

Lab Incidents:

There were 0 lab Incidents in 2005.5

Treatment Admissions for Methamphetamine Abuse:

32 treatment admissions for methamphetamine/amphetamine abuse in 2005;
0.4% of all drug abuse treatment admissions.6

State Laws Pertaining to Precursor Chemicals:

Sales limit no more than 9 g within a 30-day period; Sales to persons younger than 18 years old prohibited; Purchaser must produce photo ID showing date of birth; Purchaser must sign written log or receipt showing the date of the transaction, name of the person, and the amount of such substance. This information must be retained for at least 12 months; EPH and PSE products may only be sold from behind a checkout counter, a pharmacy counter, or in a locked storage container where the public is not permitted.7
