The Tennessee Valley's second Meth lab bust in a week proves a scary point, Methamphetamine is making a rebound in Tennessee. The Director of the Tennessee Meth Task Force says lab seizures are up 25% over last year.
Tom Farmer says Meth free laws passed in 2005 helped police fight the spread of the drug, dropping busts by half from 2005 to 2006. But more people are making the drug because of the sour economy and they're also learning new ways to do it.
"Meth manufacturers are constantly looking at new ways, methods and trends so we have to change with them to combat ever-changing methods," Farmer said.
Users are now able to make Meth in 2 liter bottles in a process called "Shake and Bake." Some users are even taking their urine and processing it to make more of the drug.
