There has been a growth in the availability of methamphetamine in the state, particularly in and around the seacoast area.

Mexican produced methamphetamine is primarily transported into the state via express mail packages, by common carrier and by privately owned vehicles from the West Coast of the United States. (1)

4.7% of students reported using methamphetamine one or more times during their life. (2)

Drug Offenses:

In 2009 there were 2 meth-related arrests; 2.1% of all drug cases in NH. (1)

There was 0.0 kg of methamphetamine seized in 2010. (3)

Lab Incidents:

There were 6 lab incidents in 2010. (4)

There were 8 children injured due to meth labs in 2010. (5)

Treatment Admissions for Methamphetamine Abuse: (6)

45 treatment admissions for methamphetamine/amphetamine abuse in 2010;

0.7% of all drug abuse treatment admissions.
