Methamphetamine remains a minor drug of concern in Maine, although abuse and availability have increased in Aroostook County, as evidenced by reports of “Yaba” seizures at the northernmost border points with Canada. (1)

There were 5 lab incidents in 2010. (3)

70 treatment admissions for methamphetamine/amphetamine abuse in 2009;
